Angel Wings Champion glue complete instruction

BUY ANGEL WINGS CHAMPION GLUE BY SUBSCRIPTION

BUY ANGEL WINGS CHAMPION GLUE INDIVIDUAL ITEMS

Target users: certified technicians only!
To use this glue it is required from a technician to know general glue curing chemistry (like most of cases why glue can get too fast, why lashes pop off or why client’s eyes can get red). The technician needs to follow the instruction and know how to manage the correct bond and speed in their room conditions.
We do not troubleshoot over advise you find in this instruction!
Retention and advanced glue chemistry online course

Purpose: Classic and Volume.

Fumes: Low. Under any circumstances do not use on opened eyes!

Sensitivity and allergy: good for sensitive clients. Not allowed to use on clients who previously experienced allergic reaction to any eyelash extension glue.

Storage requirements: t=23°C and lower, dry, dark room. Keep away from direct sunlight. Can be stored in the refrigerator or fridge as-is, no vacuun bottles, cilica packs etc. needed.

Shelf life unopened: up to 15 months from the date on the bottle under perfect storage conditions. Date on a bottle shows: Batch (AW), Month, Day, Year of cynthesizing of the glue.

Shelf life opened: up to 3 months under perfect storage/usage conditions. Practice shows it is best to change your glue between 1 and 2 months! Then it may become too fast. With tightly closed lid AW glue can be stored in the fridge between working days.

Recommended drop change: every 10-20 min in hot and (or) humid room up to to 60 min under normal conditions.

Viscosity: Thin liquid, flexible while curing. Oil and water resistant when cured.

Drying time:
fast! Average 0.5-1 sec, depends on the room temperature and humidity. Additional chemicals’ presence may speed-up or spoil the glue bond. Beware of such factors as:

– nail or hair technicians’ chemicals around;
– wet or freshly colored hair;
– cigarette smoke, alcohol fumes or their remainders;
– rough perfume etc.
If the glue is too slow, raise humidity and temperature or add Angel Wings glue booster. This way glue will cure instantly and get the best bond.

MSDS/SDS documents for salon use: see and download here.

Composition specifications:
In the glue there’s no rubber (or natural latex), no hydroquinnone, no PMMA, no waters, no oils, no organic components. Pure composition makes it good for sensitive clients. The most allergic component is still Cyanoacrylate, so it is forbidden to use on clients previously experienced allergy to cyanoacrylate.

Do not use a glue pin! It causes the clogging.

No additional coating cealant liquids required after lash set is ready. Cealant qualities already present in the glue composition.

___________________________
AFTERCARE:
– Do not wipe/rub your eyes. Minimize physical actions towards your lashes. First 24 hrs the bond might be vulnerable for wiping the lashes side to side (pulling, oils or washing will not affect the bond). Washing, eye creams etc are allowed. Washing needs to be made with gentle movements top down by the lid. And then blot gently with a towel.

– Wash every day at least once
– Brush if needed. Preferably top down
– Do not tear out or pull out lashes
– We still do not recommend using any creams around the eyes if a client plans to get refills, because there’s no way to clean well the lashes from oil when there are some extensions present. To get a good bond natural lashes have to be crystal clean before application. If it is impossible for any reason, we would recommend to a technician to wash the lashes with Angel Wings foam and then prime (maybe a few times or even in process).

EDUCATIONAL PART

Please note:
Measurement tools can show wrong numbers. In one season you may notice glue can be fast at 53% and 23 C and other season can perform the same fast at 35-45% and 20-22 C! It happens all over the world. Be smart and don’t stick to your numbers on temp and humidity level! If you feel glue performs too fast (lashes pop off), do the same as you do when it dries fast – lower your conditions, even if they seem low, and/or use more glue in a bead technique.

If the glue is slow, raise humidity and temperature or add Angel Wings booster. This way glue will cure instantly and get the best bond.

Remember that and you’ll be able to use this glue under any conditions!

Here are the tips list that may help not to get glue clogged:
1) Make sure your glue is fresh
2) Make sure you do it every single time. The most important – THE NOZZLE REQUIRES TO BE CLEANED AFTER EACH DROP! Many people claim they do, but when it’s practice time I stop them many times from closing the glue with no cleansing the nozzle. Just make sure you do. If you do cleanse the nozzle, try to change the tissue/item you use for it so it doesn’t leave any residue.
3) also, ideally to keep the bottle always top up
4) tightly close the bottle every time
5) try not to store glue in the room with high rH% and temperature higher than 28C too much (general precaution)
6) Do not use a glue pin

The other side of lash events

I think it is always interesting to see “the kitchen from the inside”. Lash Global by Angel Wings have decided to uncover the details of what is going on when lash event is prepared and ended.

First of all, who makes lash events and why? The events of this kind are made by a representative of a lash brand, a person with a large audience and good connections within the industry. One of the primary objectives is to provide an opportunity to network and promote each other for lash technicians, trainers, suppliers and marketers. The second reason, of course, is to learn something new. Conferences without a doubt bring you lots of useful information as well.

I would not be speaking about online events, because live communication is the most valuable part of these events in our opinion. You also often have a chance to try new products and get fancy presents and offers.

So, if the events are so cool, why don’t we organize them every few months? Frankly speaking, organizing an event (and doing a good job), requires great responsibility.
Firstly, the prestige of your own name and your company brand is at stake. If something goes wrong at the event, people will talk about what they dislike. You’re screwed.
Secondly, you are responsible for the money you get from people. Good bookkeeping and finance managing is the key to success.
Thirdly, you are responsible for the time and money of the people invited to the event. If you cancel the event close to the starting date, you would need to return not only the event tickets, but also the cost of guests’ tickets, hotel reservations and so on.

One of the myths about the events is that events make money for the organizers. This is both right and wrong to an extent. It is wrong because all the money the organizers get they invest in the organization. If the event has a bigger budget, you have more options available to make the event better. If you have lower than average ticket price, you can only support a venue and a bit of graphic design to make promos on your own.

There are many hidden expenses too: internet ads, banners and press walls, graphic design, purchasing or renting tables, lamps and other hardware, disposable supplies, and delivery of all of this to and from the venue. That’s tens thousands of dollars if not hundreds depending on the size of the event. On top of that, the organizers always want to make the event memorable. That’s another line of expenses for merchandise, gifts, and of course a great show at the gala evening. If you don’t have enough budget, there will be no gala.

Something always goes wrong. There are always people that don’t like something in particular or the event as a whole, no matter what you do and how good the event actually is. You just have to deal with that.
If you organize an event, you should be ready for anything: huge customs charges for receiving sponsor’s gifts, unpredictable weather, and unforeseen difficulties for your speakers, judges and attendees in actually getting to the event. Moreover, if you think that model no-shows are not your problem, you are wrong. If there is a no-show to the competition, it becomes your problem just because you want everyone to be happy with the event and maintain a good reputation.

It is also very important to choose the right judges or speakers. If you choose wrong, you put all that money you have spent for advertising in jeopardy. Not only may they not show up for the event, making you scramble for alternatives in the last minute, they also may not repost your event ads. Because of how advertising on social media works these days, paid reach is never able to target just the right audience, while organic reach is never enough without an extensive reposting campaign. Lastly, people attending the event get understandably upset when they learn that speakers appearing in the event ads have cancelled their trips. This also means you need to find a suitable substitution for that sudden loss.

So much damn responsibility.

I don’t want my words to sound hollow, so we arranged an interesting series for you. It is called Lash Global Show by Angel Wings or simply – The Lash Show. We invited different event organizers to share their experience from the outside and inside of lash events. We wanted everything to be uncovered, so we hope you will like the first series of the Season 1.

Enjoy!

#16 How to solve most of your glue and retention issues

How to solve most of your glue and retention issues.

>>> Watch it as a video here <<<

Oh my god! My client had their extensions fall off in a few days!

Hi guys, in this video I have decided to combine all of my previous videos about working with the glue, since every day in summer I have to type at least 5! Can you imagine!!? five identical or very similar troubleshooting posts for girls on how to work with the glue and how to solve their recent glue issues.

Here is the most common problem – the lashes fall out very soon or even in a few days. And for some reason your teacher haven’t told you about it. So what is the reason?

Well IT’S JUST BECAUSE YOUR GLUE SUCKS!!! AND A SUPPLIER IS A HEARTLESS CONMAN THINKING ONLY ABOUT HIS PROFIT!!!

Of course, I’m joking but you would naturally think the glue is bad. However, there are many factors, which can lead to bad retention. And you really need to pinpoint the one applicable to you.

Here is my ranking of the most common causes.

First place is going to… extremely fast glue. If your glue dries fast and takes, say, one second to cure in moderate temperature and humidity, it dries almost instantly in summer when the humidity and temperature are higher. That’s why tons and tons of posts filled with desperation appear when the hot months of summer start. But what else would you expect? If your working conditions or your technique is not suitable for professional glue, it will not work for you, no matter how many different top brands you try!

The glue curing depends on the humidity. Your glue works fast in higher humidity – that’s a fact, and in a dry room it may not cure at all. So if the humidity is normal (this range in common may be from 35 to 55% or even lower depending on the brand) – the glue dries fast. If your humidity is in a range of 55 to 65% – the glue dries almost instantly and you don’t have the time even to transfer an extension to the natural lash – the glue is almost dry by the time you apply the extension. And if you stick the half-dry glue to the natural lash – it will not hold. The lashes may pop off right away or hold only for a few days or will fall off during the following week. This is the MOST FREQUENT REASON for bad retention, especially in summer, so please consult with your supplier about the best working conditions or try to reduce your humidity to make the glue work slower. If the humidity is over 65%, the glue may cure so fast that it will crack like dried earth – in the end, you will also have very short retention.

But humidity is not the only thing you need to take control of. Most chemical processes work faster at higher temperature. If you ever dyed hair, you know that the dye works twice as fast when covered and heated. Same with the glue – the hotter your working place is, the faster your glue will dry. If it is too hot, then the glue will not dry at all, but the drop will turn into oily non-sticky liquid. That’s why you have to take control of your environment, and in summer you may even have to reduce your temperature and humidity to the comfortable level of your own working speed.

If for some reason it is impossible, here is the video I have posted a long time ago about working in a hot and humid room. Of course, there is a limit and the most extreme conditions are limited to 28C and 70% RH.

And… be sure you change your drop every 10-15 minutes when it’s hot or humid. Because the freshest glue is in the middle of the drop and the bead.

Second place in bad retention goes to… Dirty lashes.

The preparation is important. So no matter what professional glue you are working with, and especially with Angel Wings Champion glue, your client’s natural lashes have to be crystal clean. Be sure you prepare them carefully and with our glue, I suggest using an alcohol based cleanser or primer. Our primer suits this purpose perfectly.

It may be that your client always arrives with dirty lashes or makeup remainders between her lashes. If you put extensions on top of this dirtburger made of skin oil, makeup and dust, your retention will be extremely short.

To solve this issue first consult your client about makeup usage and proper lash cleaning. Angel Wings offer a special foam for the eye area, which is good for sensitive skin, for makeup removal and for everyday face wash. It takes care of your client’s lashes and removes all the dirt and some bacteria. You can even sell it to your client. The second thing you need to do – is ask your client to wash the lashes right away with a toner or micellar water, then with a lash foam and, finally, you will clean it with your lash prep.

This is how we deal with dirty lashes.

Other factors are much less frequent. They include improper storing conditions of the glue, spoiled glue, old glue, client’s biology and aftercare. But comparing to the two mentioned above – they are so rare they almost don’t matter.
Please, remember one more thing. You need to have one or two spare bottles of glue. So that you have a backup plan in case something unexpected happens.

I hope this info clarified some causes of your troubles. Please, follow me on YouTube and Instagram and feel free to ask any questions in my Facebook support group!
